my oval a700 bars are looking worn and so i thought i would paint them and some other bits

i looked into powdercoating but i am getting 30 quid plus vat and postage which adds up and i have heard stories of that ammount for a whole frame so that seems expensive, so....

-should i do them myself and if so - tips - srpray? paint? products?
-anyone know any powdercoaters in the south, especially dorset or winchester

any ideas????

cheers

Andy

I looked up powdercoaters in the yellow pages and got a few quotes a little while ago. Most local places were reasonable and could do something small pretty quickly.

Would be worth trying that. I got quotes of a whole bike for £30. If they were just to be done plain and the same color as some other stuff they were doing you could maybe get a good deal.
I'm left handed, if that matters.
  • cool, not sure if aerobars woould look ok anodised but other bits?

    have you done much stuff?
  • these look good, i didn't realise anodizing looked this pimp.

    pm'd you

    cheers
