hi, im soon to be leaving the uk and im unsure about taking my bike along or selling it here and buying new.
never looked into this stuff before as i dont travel much so....
how would you go about getting the bike shipped?
how safe is it to get it shipped (is there a big likleyhood of damage if packed in a box with padding without a funky travel bag thingy)?
how much does it cost (reasonable or enough to make you cry)?
the bike only weighs 31-2lbs but im gonna be heading off in the direction of the usa and the flight is a 3 stopper so im assuming it'd have to sent by some sort of courier.
any info would be highly appreciated as i dont know where to start looking.
found loads of info on how to pack a bike but none on getting it where you want it.
