at the same time? have started to pay towards a new 2010 giant anthem x 4 in small, but have been told that they won't be in the country until feb 2010.(although the larger, and more expensive models will be here this year.)does not compute. :?

Is this on pre order? Shops shouldn't sell stock they don't have. That is the annoying thing really.

I guess ranges are completed at differnt times.
  • have pre ordered it from shop (paying towards it every f/night).but they checked on when they could get one, before i paid anything.to be honest i don't really mind the wait,(as i am paying towards it f/nightly.)it just seems strange that some sizes/models will be here this year, but others won't arrive until 2010.
  • it's annoying the hell out of me. No 09 bikes in leisurelakes (where I have my voucher for) and the only 2010's in my £500 pricerange are the hardrocks which I'm not too keen on.

Leisurelakes don't have any idea when my preferred choice, mongoose tyax elite 2010, will be available. Mongoose told me to contact hotwheels uk who haven't replied.

Can you imagine if manufacturers did wait until every bike in their range was complete before releasing them? We'd be waiting until Feb or March for the bikes to be available. In the meantime the shops would have no bikes to sell in certain styles (mountain/road) and only hybrids which aren't updated every year would be available. Shops would go out of business as they couldn't get stock, suppliers would have no income as they wouldn't be taking orders for bikes and so they couldn't make the range we were waiting for.

    Does that help?
  • well i will be waiting until feb 2010,as i said above.
