and this through the fact that I have decided to take part in triathlons. I used to have a road bike when i was living in the south of France. So equipment wise we did not need much. I just bought a second hand bike (wanted to try first really before spending a lot of money). So far got a helmet, jersey short sleeve, a jacket and shorts. Could anyone recommend decent pair of mits and gloves for colder days, unfortunatelly I am on a budget after spending all that money and don't want to buy something without knowing about it. In advance thanks and see you around on the road of Essex.

Good to have you back JC. Make sure you enjoy it above all else.

Tons of decent gloves to choose from - as far as winter gloves are concerned make sure you buy them windproof and decently padded (big & fluffy :D ). Nowt worse than cold hands of feet for ruining a nice ride.

    It's great to be .....

Hopefully, you will have to give some of the route you go on as I am not too sure on where to go on a bike - some of the roads feel a bit intimidating.
