Well i was out yesterday and saw some of this lube in halfords, I bought wet lube thinking as winter gets closer it will rain more etc. And i would get more use out of the wet than the dry.

What i want to know is will wet lube be ok for the odd day off sun we get in the run up to winter?

  • It'll work fine, although it might mean your drive train picks up a bit more dust (and therefore wears a bit quicker). I shouldn't worry about using your bike in the sun with a wet lube on.

    Ok cheers,
If i still have some wet lube left next year when its sunny is it worth using the rest of it or buy dry lube?

yeh, if you can guarantee decent spells of weather but if it's like this year with random monsoon rainfall then flick a coin.

yeah dont worry about it you may need to clean your chain more often though however if you go to halfords do not buy there own lube as it is rubbish and it wears off in the rain really easily.
