As you see they're very similar and the 3.0 gets slated for it's crappy mount anyway looks like blackburn revised it on the 1.0.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I nearly bought one but I went for the Smart 1/2 watt LED instead.Claud Bulter Cape Wrath D27 (2009)

Well princeton tec have their swerve with their two 1/2 watt led's but i left that go for now and i think the mars 4.0 is just plain ugly.
I have a small led on my lid for low light conditions to save me being run over during the day but for night my mars 3.0 is plenty bright, but like i said the mount is crap, if this mount turns out crap i'll jubilee clip the bastage on.
Or failing that cable tie/gaffer tape either way its going on dammit!!!The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
