Hi
I am thinking of changing my forks and wanted some advice about brake calliper mounting.
I currently use IS mounts and the forks I am looking at are post mount. Can I use my existing calliper without the IS mount or will I need a new one?
Cheers

If your calipers are postmount, with an IS adaptor, you simply remove the adaptor (for 160mm rotors).
If you want to use a big rotor ypou need a larger post - post adaptor.
This does not apply to some DH forks.0 -
I have Avid Juicy 5 brakes with 185mm front rotor. They are on an adapter so sounds like they would fit?0

well you will need to get the correct adaptor."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
