Why do some Cannondale bikes come with only half a fork?

    Not so new this 'half fork' I remember Adam Hart Davis having one years ago on his T V prog.
  • Great comments. I was always a complete cynic about Lefty's and couldn't understand the attraction. Having recently bought the Bad Boy 8, my first Cannondale, I can honestly say I'm quite impressed with it. It's very stiff, fast and stealthy. I like that it's only got one stumpy leg at the front and a fat belly in the rear wheel.

    ...but then I do love a gadget, hence a bike that not only has a "spork" :) I mean Lefty but an Alfine geared hub as well.

    And then again, I did buy a Specialized Enduro SL, you know the one with the double (or is it triple) crown fork.

    I love 'em both though :D
