presta to schraeder valves

Hi guys, just bought my daughter a cannondale F5 but it has presta valves and the wheels won't accept schreader valves, since all my pumps - spares, etc are schreader based how do I get round this other than buying new stuff. Can I get the trusty Black & Decker out and drill the valve hole bigger. Probably a daft question I know.

You can - 8mm and a file - but you can weaken the rim an will invalidate warranty.
Simple solution is to by valve cap adaptors.0 -
or just a 8.5mm drill.
some rims are not suitable for drilling as they are too narrow in the valve area.
adaptors or a multi fit pump."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Convert the other way - you can use presta in a schraeder rim just fine.
I dont think I've seen a pump in years that was valve specific ?0 -

+1 and if they are, sounds like the cheapest/simplest solution is just to get one that will fit presta!0 -
