Fork upgrade £200

Hi
I am looking to upgrade my fork from a very basic sr suntour xcr(100mm) fork that came with the bike. I mostly do xc riding nothing to extreme. i have a budget of £200 but could stretch to £250 if needed. I am currently looking at the rock shox tora but would like to know if there are any other forks that would do the job.

What bike is it for? For XC duties you could get a Reba for £2500

It is for a mongoose tyax super 080

Nice bike.
The Reba would shed a nice chunk of weight, but it is quite a burly bike overall. You could get a Tora or Recon but they would be heavier, but a little tougher and stiffer.
250 quid though - you could split and get say a Tora SL and a new lighter wheelset say some crossrides.0 -
