Hi all,
I have been lurking around here for a couple of months, reading all of the knowledgable advice that you officianados of all things two-wheeled/non engined are giving away for free.
The outcome is that at the grand old age of 43 I have replaced my ageing (1997) Diamondback Sorrento SE with a new, shiney, red and white Cube LTD Pro. It arrived on Monday and I have already clocked up 30 miles on local lanes and cycle ways (I know, I know, but I am getting used to it still). The bike feels amazing to me, but I can only compare it to the Diamondback. I bought mail order and used Cube's website to compare sizes to my old bike which showed I should get a 22" frame (6' 5"), it fits a treat and feels very comfortable.
I fell off of it this morning, which was great especially as it did not get a mark on the bike and there was not any blood (fell off sideways on a grassy bank when it slid from under me at low speed). Really enjoying myself and enjoying getting all sweaty
Anyway, thanks for all the advice.
