Its a self extracting crank and the non drive side arm keeps self extracting itself whilst i am riding. What could be wrong with it and what can i do to fix it. I have tightened it up every time it does it but as soon as i start riding i can feel the play in it

you feel play in the left arm?

as in that it is moving on the splines?

or is the cranks moving in the BB?

    who fitted the crankset?

Its a play in the arm not the crank set. I can feel it when i pedal. I fitted it.

then it sounds like the arm has been damaged and needs replacing or the bb has not been fitted correctly.
