Liked the look of some of the credit crunchers (DMR Trailstar) in other threads and thought building up a cheap shop/pub bike would be a good idea to get me back into the mechanics side. All i have to start with though is a set of Avid vs and levers and some Marzocchi Z5s circa 1999 (from a Kona Nunu). They have been in my parents garage since 2000 when they were replaced with Z1 CRs so need a service - is it worth me getting them serviced and starting a cheap build or should i just bin them?? Any advice very much appreciated!
