Hi, im Mark and i thought id share a bit of happiness im going through at the moment !!! In 1991 i was knocked off my motorbike causing severe left hip and leg injuries basically causing me to be just about able to walk a small amount, but 18 month ago HEY PRESTO , i had a new metal birmingham hip shoved in and im back on a bike for the first time since 1991 lol the bikes are blooming marvellous to what i did own back then, i had a Holdsworth Challenger GT 1986 model i think, and a Dawes Imperial !!! good bikes then i guess but compared to my entry level Giant FCR 2 2009, they dont have a look in, just hoping the new "ip" holds out, cheers , Mark.

I somehow knew you would!I suppose in this uncertain climate, it pays for companies to diversify their market. Campag have obviously moved from cycling to cyborg.

Truly inspirational. Well done for getting back on a bike.
I know what it's like to have a pretty serious injury. Not as bad as yours though.
So what's the next goal?Stumpjumper FSR 09/10 Pro Carbon, Genesis Vapour CX20 ('17)Carbon, Rose Xeon CW3000 '14, Raleigh R50

Next goal for myself will be keeping out there longer, probably 40 - 50 milers 3 times a week, just managing 20-30 miles 3 times a week at the minute though, still ok i guess for being back into it for about 3 month and then probably the great north bike ride then the coast to coast this time next year obviously lol probably knock a bit of cash up for charity etc good local paper news...." man with gammy hip rides a push bike a long way for charity" not muxh ring to it like lol0 -
