I am thinking about upgrading the wheels on my CUBE AMS 125 K18.
They are currently XT hubs with alex rims ZX 24.
I am trying to gauge what they would be to buy new in order to give me an idea of how much i would need to spend to notice an improvement in performance an weight.
I have been to the Alex rims site but cant find any info on them so i am assuming they have been made by them for cube only.
Can anyone estimate their value and recommend a suitable upgrade.

Thanks

Could do with knowing what spokes they were and your weight.

I'd guess the wheels are about 1900g-2kg for the pair, but you can easily weigh them (bare - no skewers).

Looking at over 200 quid to see a half pound improvement really.

No idea on the spokes. I checked the spec list on the cube site but it has no info.
I will weigh them at the weekend.

I reckon you`d need to spend more like £300 to really notice an improvement.
Hope hoops, with ZTR rims or Shimano XT 775S would be around 1700g.
Spend £385 and get Hope 3 hubs with ZTR rims, and youd get nerarer 1600g.
