i have reverse styx cranks with a 68mm shell
as per this picture
i disassembled the lot after riding on sunday and put it back together with the same noise evident.

It can do if that is the cause.
But a lot of parts down there!0 -
the cranks are pretty new have only been out on maybe 10 rides about 25hours or so0
