Broke my brakes?

I was riding in Dalby Forest a few weeks back and went over the handle bars and did some serious damage to my elbow and knees.

When I got up I noticed that the piston on my front brake lever had popped out of its rubber housing.

The brakes are Formula ORO K18 and the metal piston popped out, I pushed the piston back in and now the front brake is very keen and makes a strange noise when I pull the lever and it also seems like the lever has moved a bit closer to the handlebars.

Should I take it back to the shop and see if they can fix it or would I be able to do it myself?

I dont really know what to do myself so any help would be seriously appreciated.

Cheers, Sean.

try using the reach adjust screw.

they are meant to pop out.
