Bontrager Rhythm Wheel & Jones XR Tire Problem

Yesterday on the Phoenix trail at Mabie I picked up a puncture. I fixed it and carried on but when I finished I noticed that the tire is not quiet sitting correctly around the rim of the wheel. 50% of the tire is seated tight against the wheel but the other 50% has not 'popped' in to place.
Hopefully I have given enough info for you to understand my problem. I am sure it does not impact the riding of the bike but it does give the back wheel a very annoying wobble when I spin it round.
The wheel and tire are tubless ready but I have not done this yet as I am going to move over to Mud X tires in a month or so.
Can anyone advise how I can pop the tire back in to place so my bike is back to full glory.

Deflate, and try again! When partially infalted, make sure is correctly seated.0

does the wheel have a seating well for the bead? if so it will prob take 60-70psi to seat the bead in the well. my old wtb rims made reseating a tyre impossable without a trackpump and some soap. they gave off a loud crack when the tyre seated into the well.0

richg1979, there is a seating well for the bead and no matter how hard I have tried over the last 4 hours I cannont get all off the bead on the tire in to the seating well. I am about to head back to my garage and try and get enough PSI in to my tire (Asda foot pump) to pop the seating back in to place.0

Thanks for the tip richg, the tire is now seated correctly in the wheel rim. Not sure how much psi it took to get it in place but I have let a good bit of air back out off my tire as it was rock hard :-)0

Hi Kev
i had same probs with rhythms tried putting steel bead conti verticals on em but they wouldn't seat even lubed with washing up liquid and pumped to 90 psi anyway i tried tubeless so got some bonty rim strips replaced the blue rim strip with em but didn't bother going tubeless so tried verticals again and they popped in a treat even duel ply swampthings pop in no probs
so try bonty rim strips there only 3 quid each the blue rim strip never looked centered think that was the problemsantacruz butcher
