scott scale maximum tyre size?

got some 2.2 conti mountain kings on at the moment and was just wondering the pro's /con's of fitting the 2.4 variant?

    :? ummm not sure, won't the wider width make the bike slower?

    not sure. read an article from schwalbe about skinnies versus fatties and rolling resistance over different terrain and the conclusion was that fatter tyres roll better over non tarmac terrain.

    might give em a bash as they're only 22 quid for a pair!

    I have a HI-ROLLER 2.35 out back on mine and it seems fine. has reduced clearance but its not as if we ever have mud to deal with in the grand UK
    fly like a mouse, run like a cushion be the small bookcase!
