Hi, i was wondering if anyone knew..
all I've been doing is hill climbing and ive only had my bike 2 weeks..
solid hills around clent take alot out of me i never ever get off, i just slow down alot..
so i was wondering how people keep going when you get to that point when you body( thighs, calfs, stomach, feet) say NO! please advice..Have you literally just got to grin and bear it, or is there something behind it all
cheers

Practice.
Advice is to aim to sprint a short while after completing the hill. After a while you should steam up the hill and naturally recover whilst still maintaining some speed.0 -
Don't push too hard at the start of the climb, take it steady until your fitness build.
Garz suggests sprinting over the top of the hill, I would say just keep the effort the same. but change up your gears.
As you get fitter you up hills faster, but they don't get easier.--
