Transporting a bike with hydraulic discs in a trailer

Hi I want to take my bike on holiday with me this year but I don't have a bike rack. I do however have a car trailer. My bike would have to lie on its side in the trailer. My question is will this mess up the hydraulic discs as it will be lying on its side for a few hours? The brakes are Tektro Auriga comp models if it matters. Thanks

No, but if you do find that the brakes have no bite when you pull the levers when the bike is upright, then just pull the levers a few more times to pump the brake fluid back into the calipers as it can sometimes collect in the lever reserviors, especially if the bike has been inverted.

    Shouldn't be a problem.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

No, but your forks might not be happy.

You know that you can get towbar racks that will fit AND allow you to hitch a trailer??
