Hi I purchased a GT Avalanche 2.0 (first mountain bike) and ive done about 150 miles on it, its fitted with Tektro Auriga Comp hydrallic disc brakes. I can pull the front brake leaver to past half way before the brakes start to apply (they used to kick in as soon as i pulle the leaver). I was wondering if there's anything i can do to adjust this? (on cable disc brakes im guessing you can just toghten the cable up?).

Many thanks
Dan

    adjust the lever reach.

and the pads will settle back down after a few uses and then re adjust the lever reach.

Thanks for the quick reply, is it normal that the reach needs to be adjusted after being set up? i.e. is it something i just keep adjusting as the position moves?

    thanks again
