hi all
i've got an 04 stinky which has never been absued or crashed it is rated up to 170mm however i was wandering if running an 09 66 which is 180mm would cause problems if i ran a little extra sag to compensate

If the crown to axle length isn't maassively different, should be fine.0

well its exactly 23mm longer than the 55ata i've been running, which is only 160mm travel
what sort of percent sag would be best to compensate being as i only run 15 to 20% usually0 -

i'm not so fussed about feel lol just damaging my frame.

so compare the axle to crown height of that fork with the one you want to fit.
