Ritchey WCS Freehub issue

I have a set of Ritchey WCS XC Disc wheels.
They have an alloy freehub body.
I use an XT Cassette but the bottom three sprockets do dig in.
The cogs on the carrier are loose, they move a couple of mm before actually engaging the freehub. The lockring is tight, but I assume it's only tightening against a groove in the freehub?
Has anyone seen this before?
I contacted ritchey who said that steel freehub bodies aren't available, however i believe it's a DT hub anyway, has anyone replaced one of these?

have you got all of the cassette parts fitted?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yes, shifting is fine (making me believe all the cogs are where they should be), and the lockring tightens the bottom 3 cogs.0

Took it all to bit's filed the "sticky up bits" down. Re-greased, re-fitted, and it's all nice now.
