hi
in the past week the brakes have packed up on my gt avalanche 3.0 the bakes are beyond repair so got to get them replaced i thought i would upgrade to hydraulic brakes.
as i was looked at buying a new fall suss trail bike the brakes broke i asked the blokes in the shop said its a good bike for what i do just a bit off light trail riding the only things was the brakes and the forks
so dont know what to do
replace the brakes and the forks
buy a new full suss
thanks

WHat budget do we have?
New brakes and forks would be about 250 quid - and will make a substantial difference.
Doesn't sound like you need full sus for that sort of ridimg.0 -
the buget for brakes and forks is 500
i was looking at
rock shox domain
avid juice 5
and i was looking to buy a full suss for about 15000 -
You can't fit Domains to an avalanche, you need to stick to 100-130mm forks.
If you have that much money it would be better to get a new bike.0 -
thanks for that
what bikes is there for 500 that have better spec that my avalanche will have after i have spend 500 on it
will the rock shoc reba fit on it0 -
Reba would be a better bet for XC riding. Or an RS revelation.
A bike like the Carrea Fury has an allround great spec.0
