Revelations or Pikes - Pikes are a little heavier/burlier (and coil only now I think)0

Pikes are great. Fully adjustable to run at 95-140mm.0

I have some U-Turn Revalations (110mm-140mm) on my XC bike and I've been very happy with them.
Cost about £370 in a sale from JEJames (pricematched to CRC prices to save an extra fiver).Canyon Spectral AL 9.0 EX

Another vote for Revs, they're ace.Uncompromising extremist0

Which bike is it for, and what front hub do you have?0

I might as well jump on the Revelation bandwagon!
Best bit of kit I've ever bought. Fitted a set of Revs to my Shova a cpl of years ago and it's been a marriage made in heaven. Fit and forget.0 -
Other forks are available. Magura Thors are mint if you're lucky enough to get a set that works all the time (mate of mine has 2 pairs, one on his 5, one on his Chameleon... The set on the 5 have been basically perfect, top handling, fantastic kit, the set on the Chameleon were ****ed from day one and after 2 returns to the manufacturers are still ****ed). No doubt there's a Talas of some sort that'll do the same job extremely well too.Uncompromising extremist0

Talas are fantastic (IMHO) , yes, less than £ 500, probably not. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
