I lost a QR skewer spring this morning whilst fixing a puncture. Will that cause a problem with the wheel?

Where can I get some replacement ones?

Ask in your lbs, they can get new ones or have them floating about. The springs are there only to help you fit the wheel by keeping the skewer central, they serve no purpose in use.

    Don't worry about it.

The spring is there purely to hold the skewer central, with the clamping surface pushed away from the hub to make it easier to get the axle into the drop outs. It is purely a convenience thing.

It has no safety element, as soon as the skewer is tightened the tiny spring is flattened.
