The descent of the Saises is nasty -- road surface very cracked by frost damage, unless they've done a resurfacing job recently.

Is it more embarrassing to be riding like a dog on a bike tricked out in TdF yellow?

The Aussies forming their own breakaway group at the rear.

At least Cav will have someone to pace him up the climbs! (Unless he drops Evans - which is looking like a possibility right now)

Sean is wondering if Cadel is going to try for the stage win on Saturday.

According to the doctors Voigt saves his life thanks to the helmet he was wearing!

He said last night how GC was beyond him now and he needed to think about something else like a stage win for this TdF. ITV are busy going on about how cadel is having a bad day today and charlie W is there to keep him going. Total rubbish. Its gotta be obvious that he is trying to put himself at the point where they might let him go for a stage win. Ventoux might be a good plan though I imagine a few have it earmarked.

Hmm. I look forward to an analysis of his output on this stage. One of the less balletic grimpeurs.

No way. The only glory left to him is the Ventoux. The greatest climb of them all.

Perhaps Thor's strategy is to blow up part way through the stage in the knowledge that Cav will get nul points today? If he stays out in front on the next climb it's going to look a bit suspicious isn't it?
