Wonky V brakes?

I was getting my bike out of the car today and somehow managed to squeeze the front brake (as I'm a clumsy mofo) when the wheel wasn't on, the result being when I put it back on they just weren't right.
After playing about a bit I got the front brake to work . In fact they are working better than before.
However they look 'wonky', as in sloping when I thought they would be straight. I can't remember if they were before.
Anyway, here's the pic. Is it normal for them to look like this?

Check the wheel is in central, the pad spacers are oriented the same on each side. (and the pads are adjusted correctly).
Use the arm spring adjuster screw to balance arm tension.0 -
So basically they shouldn't look like that? Damn. Thought it was too easy.0

but... with the standards of some wheels and forks they could end up like that and work fine.

have fun."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

True, but risks hitting the V arms on the tyres there I think.0

Cheers guys! Centralised the wheel and adjusted those little screws. Jobs a good 'un!
I tell you what I know it's probably a very easy job that any muppet can do, but it gives you a certain amount of satisfaction fixing your own bike.0 -
Most of us start this way! Keep going with other tasks, you pick it up quick, and save a lot of money.0
