Chain choice
Not sure whether to go with the Record 10sp (C10) chain like i've had before without any problems or to plump for the KMC 10-SL in either silver or gold. The advantage with the KMC of course is the 'missing link' which is easier if something goes wrong. The record one needs the Campag chain tool of course.
Hmm ... decisions, anyone with bad to say about the KMC? Heard about breakages on the WW forum you see .....

I think you answered your own question giantman! You've never had a problem with the record chains, like a lot of people. I use Chorus myself, not sure why, but they have never let me down. Just fitted a new one last weekend and can't believe what a difference a new chain makes. Drivetrain is running so sweet now...0

got a KMC 10-SL in gold,
absolutely no complaints about it, made quite a big difference to the bike and no sound from the back what's so ever.0 -

So you're using the Sram Red chain with Record then? Hmm wondering if chains and cassettes last as long if you mix and match like this?0

Or put a KMC link on a Campagnolo chain - no brainer! I use KMCs on all my bikes - the ti-nitrided ones feel smoother and last longer IME.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I've had 100 % reliability with KMC chains - happy with them - the missing link thingy is excellent when you've got the missing link pliers - makes the job dead quick and easy - literally, 5 seconds.
