Hi
As soon as it gets wet, my feet are all over the place on the pedals. Currently got Shimano MX30s with the short pins and a set of Vans shoes. Got some long pins now for the pedals, will this help with grip or should I look at getting a set of MTB specific shoes?
Been looking at the 5:10 lows as I don't like SPD's, anyone got any experience with them or could suggest an alternative?
Thanks

You won't get a more perfectly grippy set of shoes for flat pedals than Vans with a waffle tread.
I haven't tried those pedals myself, but I've heard that the pins that come with them are too short.
Try the longer pins, see if it helps.0 -
The long pins will be a lot better mate, the short pins are a joke0
