Social Rides for slower people - Doncaster area

I've kinda stolen the idea for this thread from one in the Commuting section. That thread is arranging slower social rides but is based in London.
The idea is to arrange rides for those people (like me) who can't keep up with the speed demons I see out on a weekend in replica team kit, people who want to get out and extend their rides but may be worried about joining a club due to the 'what if I can't keep up' question...
SO, if you fancy stretching your legs for some 2-4 hr rides on the basis that everyone rides at the pace of the slowest rider, leave a reply and we'll see what we can arrange between us.

Hi, join up with the CTC group, they meet up at the cenotaph on south parade every sunday at 9am and ride out from there. Average speed 12 mph ish, certainly not testing. They do up to 60 or so miles but there are plenty of tea stops where you can drop off and ride home, usually with a couple of others.
no need to worry about your ability, you wouldnt struggle0 -

No, Im a member but only through turning up on a sunday morning having 3 or 4 rides out with them and deciding they are a decent bunch. They dont expect you to join straight away, just come along and see what you think. Also have a look on the ctc website for a bit more info about the club and local groups. Tony0
