brakes

not used my GT 1.0 for a couple of months,when I went to use it the back wheel is stuck,it seems the back disc brake is stuck,is it an easy fix(I know next to nothing about bikes)or is this a job for my LBS? thanks

    well the ESP is not working on this side.

    have you turned on on your side as you miss out some important information.

    What are the brakes?

    the brakes are called hayes so1e,the rear brake lever is fully on if that helps,anyone know how to fix?

    try backing off the static poston and then re aligning the caliper.

    or read the manual. (downloadable from Hayes webby see links in the links sticky).

    did have a look on the hayes site,thats why I said its a trip to the shop,the site just seemed to have the hayes so1e hydrolic brake manual,and once it started talking about tools that made my mind up! cheers anyway

    ...methinks snig requires the assistance of two people here...
    ...one to hold the spanner & the other to rotate the bike around it! :lol:

    some people just want a bike to ride and not have to think to much about it,nothing wrong with that,others like to get more into it.

    fixed them! it turned out just to need a turn of an alan key.
