Hi all,

just ordered a pair of these bibtights, for the coming cold months, seems like a good price to me:

Googled them, and some US stores are still selling them at $300, one had them on clearout at $150, not sure quite how or why........ RRP here allegedly £80.

Thought it was worth a punt for the money anyway.

On a whim searched for the shorts as well, and they can be had for £30:

Anyone else used either of these and rate them?

Cheers

Apologies if anyone ordered the bibtights, they have only just mailed me back to say they are not in stock

Website still says 'Good stock level' though :?

Mailed them back to remonstrate, but it will achieve nothing....

No idea if the other place has the shorts in stock.

I have the Trek bibshorts, and I like them, for the price of them, they are a really nice fit, and the chamois is not too bad for longish rides.

Will probably get another pair to be honest.

JE James are well known for this. Web searches often return their site first because the quote low prices, but the items are often not in stock. I think it is a deliberate ploy to get web traffic. To advertise goods as in stock when they are not is a breach of advertising regulations. Report them to Trading Standards.

You are probably right AB, on balance though, I have ordered a lot of goods from them, as you say at very good prices, and they have only let me down once before.

SBezza, pleased to hear the bibtights I can't get hold of are good
Seriously though, where are you planning to get your next pair from?

I think I got my bibshorts (I have never had the bibtights) from All Terrain Cycles, so would probably use them again.

+1 on this, drives me up the wall, I have got to the point where I just ignore them.
