Anyboby in the Great Yarmouth Area?

Hey!

I'm bored of biking on my own now and need some fellow bikers to join with! I can't seem to find any clubs/groups of people to bike with?!

I seem to remember there is a club in Great Yarmouth, if you check on the British Cycling i think there is a phone number for them as they don't have a website. If no good then there are several in Norwich, I ride with VC Norwich which is the largest and is pretty good, I drive in from N Walsham to ride with them.

Nwalsham is quite a way out!...

it'd be cool...never been to a club before...I guess its ok to have some random guy turn up etc etc

No problem turning up on spec, thats what I did. Sundays club ride is the best for a newbie, we run a slower ride group averaging about 16 mph over 50 miles with a cake stop half way. Its quite an easy pace as in a group you use 30% less energy and you get a break at about half way. Don't turn up this sunday as its the club road race and the ride has been cacelled to allow us to marshall/take part.
