Can anyone tell me if its possible to fit a remote lock out to a front fork that didn't come out of the factory with one?

I think we are missing one important piece of information here.......
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

You can replace the lockout lever that sits on top of the forks with one that'll take a cable, but I think you will also need to replace the lockout mechanism/damper/whatever inside the leg with one with a spring in it- can be done though.

Dunno how much difference it makes but my Rebas also have a little cable stop near the lockout cap thing. Actually thinking about it it might make a noticeable difference!

It can be done certainly, although it isn't cheap as you need a new rebound assembly IIRC

Yes will require modifcation and a remote lever. Pop locks are around £40.00 and a your looking at another £100.00+ to carry out the modifications including a service.

    speak to TFTuned

You could save a significant amount of money by carrying out the work yoursef but I really dont know how difficult/easy it would be.

Probably easier and cheaper to selll the existing Toras and buy one with poplcoc unless you DIY.
Or upgrade and get a Reba SL with a pushloc from Merlin for £250........
