Hi,

I've been upgrading my current bike for a while and now i'm looking to upgrade the frame to carbon.

Can anybody recommend me a good value for money frame either road or triathlon geometry? Budget approx£750

Cheers
Jim

Well Pedal force do one for about £350 , as do ribble - these are amongst the cheapest - and are good value money frames.

Kinesis KR810 - bit more than £750, but you might find a deal somewhere...

Pedal Force have been around for ages, forums often seem to get spammed when there are group buys on.

I got the red and black RS2 and SRAM Red last year (on special offer) - the frame looks great and is light but I've not had a chance to build, never mind use it. Work has been hectic, living from hotel to hotel while spending more time away than at home. I'm sure others here will provide reviews soon for you.

a guy at our club has a pedal force carbon frame - it looks nice- and he certainly doesn't get left behind (probably fitness not frame though) - sure I heard somewhere that the same frame is badged and sold more expensivley as something else.

Pedal have been around for ages - the only gripe I ever heard was that someone once got the wrong size frame.

the dilema would be what to do with the extra £400.......Im happy to help

I have a Pedal Force frame and forks that I bought off ebay last Autumn from a seller who'd bought but not used it. I've built it into a very nice Campag Centaur bike with Planet X wheels, stem and bars. The total cost was £1,200 and the bike is great, it's light and was comfortable a few weekends ago over the Dragon Ride.

People get together for a group buy on this frame Jim, popular on weight weenies and other forums, cos they're cheap and light, and the ideal starter for a light build.
