    In fairness, there's no good reason for no hammering along singletrack on a road bike, grip permitting. Mtb's are for softies who can't get enough gears and who need a soft saddle.

    You can always spot a mtber - by the bike on the back of their car. :P

    Ok it's not as environmentally friendly as road biking, but at the end of the day they're no more than big boy's toys :wink:
