i have a prob with the 2mm Allen screw , its threads are worn out on the front lever and i can't adjust it. the lever is getting pretty close to the bar now and this is with 2 new pads installed.
can i replace the nut itself or what can i expect to do? new lever?
thanks

You can buy the new part, I think hayes supply a service kit, ask your local bike shop, you need to remove the brake lever with a 4 mm allen key and remove the circlip, careful you dont let the piston pop out though, it's not a difficult job all will be revealed once you remove the lever0

When you fit the new adjustment screw apply some loctite (thread lock) coz they always rattle loose, mine need adjusting every few rides and I cant be arsed to take it apart and put any on but you have a good reason !!!0
