Seems ok, but there is better for the money:

Parts in places a little less, but the frame is worth a hell of a lot more.0 -
As much as I like Pinnacle bikes, that is a seriously good price on that scale 30.
Despite the Scott having a carbon frame, because of the slightly better kit, the Pinnacle weighs just 250g more than the Scott (10.60kg / 23.4lbs compared to the Scott at 10.35kg / 22.80 lbs).
I tried the 2008 version of this frame when I bought mine last year, and I really liked it.
Thing is, we are rapidly approaching that time of year when places slash prices on 09 models to make way for next years incoming stuff so there may be even bigger bargains to be had.
Having tried last years Arrow, and owned a Pinnacle for the best part of a year now, it would be the Pinnacle for me.0 -

i am temped by all three bikes especially the rockrider seen as thou the wheels alone are like £800 does anyone kmow if the bike itself is any good?0

Decathalon have some fantastic reviews from people on this site.
There is no desputing that is one hell of a bike for the money. Just shows how much extra we are paying for a Scott or Specialized badge really.
If you have a decathalon store near you, I say go for it dude.0 -

Hi there, I bought an last years Arrow reduced to about £1200 and i'm really pleased with it. Similar spec to the one you're looking at but the '08 model came with Mavic Crossrides and Easton 'bars, stem & seatpost. It's a fast, solid but light bike, I don't do it any justice! Take it for a spin, go and try it...0
