Hi there
While cycing out to Holmfirth on my mtb i was going down a hill and the back cogs made a grinding noise.
I changed down it stopped i was going quite fast so changed up and changed up again. About to change on the second gearing when it happen again. A friend of mine who gave me the bike says i am not pedaling as fast for that gear.
But i must be sometimes its hard to chage up 2 or 3 on the right hand side i mainly have to stick in the 1st set.
It is an old bike tho.
cheers
James

Sounds like they need readjusting, and the cables cleaned/replaced.0
