I am in a dilemma

About to buy on a ride to work scheme

I have £1000 and my research based on many different criteria has narrowed it down to these two bikes. My dilemma is do I go for the nicer looking and possibly slightly tougher Felt or what seems to be the lighter bike that seems to have better brakes ?

I just can't make my mind up - Riding is mainly forest but startain to hit wales and the mountains.

Any impartial views would greatly help my decision making process

thanks

Adam

Can you try either of them out?
  • not the Boardman as is only stocked in very few stores, none of which are near where i live

The Boardmans are getting a lot of good press, but I've heard little or nothing about the Felt. If it was my money and I had to buy 'blind' I'd go for the Boardman.

Boardman - although i'm biased as I have one. Excellent for forest trails etc around Wales.

Not realy heard much about the felt.

I concidered the Trance 5 and the Specilized FSR but both were out of stock.
