What's good, we all know that odi are good but what about charge duster, imperial or lizard skin peaty grips, any other suggestions perhaps?
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I got some lizard skins 'northshore' lock ons. Very grippy and comfy. Thicker than normal, good for bigger hands (I was getting pains in my hands with the thinner grips originally fitted to the bike).

    these are they

What about longevity, im just after what everyone else is, looks, comfort and longevity, a mate has the lizards and they feel very nice but i have a feeling they're soft so will wear out quickly?

Well, I've had them on a few weeks now. Ride every day, no signs of deterioration.

    EDIT
p.s, lock on ends are black on mine. Can't remember where I got them. May have been evans.

Holding up pretty well, although once they're on it's a struggle to get them off without damage. Really good control 'feel', but not that much padding.

How else can you lose 100-150gr off your bars without losing any strength, for under a tenner:?: 8)

    i use specialized grips.

i have the thin ones and a set of the rocca ones. the roccas are more comfortable and although soft, sem to be holding out well.

i also have some dmr lockons and they are very nice, not as soft and sticky but still very comfy. i wouldnt use the grub screw fitting method on carbon bars though.

my older stumpy is fitted with some token lockons and they are a nic width but the rubber is very hard so they last forever but lack a little comfort.

i have a set (not fitted) of sunline grips which feel lovely, very soft and comfy even without gloves but i dont like the grup screw type clamp

The grips on my new reaction are fairly nice, they are lock on they feel like compressed foam you need to wear gloves for long rides.

Another vote for the peaty grips. Good grip and look nice. Iirc they are made by Odi and the lock on bits are the same I think.

Been very happy with my ODI Ruffian LOG's very good and wearing well with the mileage put on them.
I also have the bog standard Kona LOG's on the hardtail and they work well too, not quite as well wearing, but more than enough grip

Sure, they're quite nice, sticky and from the feel of them they should last a while.

    I like em. 8)

Peaty grips only come in white iirc.

Sunline Logo LO grips do it for me, never had to tighten them in 6 months and they are really comfy. They come in black or white and you can get thick or thin grips

How do you actually buy something off that fooking site??? Can you buy on-line or do you have to call them?
