suntour xcm.I dont think tf tuned do them do they?0

Ah, no. They are pretty much dead then. A new fork would cost less than having them fixed.0

WHat budget? V brakes or disc? And what bike is it?0

ok first things first i want as cheap as poss and dont care if they are used cos im getting a freeride bike later in the year.
Disc brakes-(cable pull avid bb5's)
Specialized hardrock 08 the overbuilt one not the new curvy one.
P.S just looked at toras on ebay for 25 quid what do you reckon to those.Just recommend a heap and ill go through if you want.

Also make sure the fork steerer is long enough.0 -
ok cheers man.
How can i messure my steerer with out taking the fork off.Is it just the bit from the crown of the fork to the stem?
Any other fork ideas?0 -
For the steerer, measure from the to of the fork crown, to the top os the stem - you'll need about 4mm les than this. That is if your're happy with you're stem position. Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10

ok cheers man.I think that the stem might be dropped a bit anyway because of the extra travel in the fork.0
