Ok
new to cycling and want to get fit, so i have taken advantage of my bike2work through evans.
Tried to get the elusive answer on here to "which bike should i buy" but didnt get anywhere.
I had my heart set on a Specialised Allez 18 but got very frustrated with their Stock issues ( cant believe a business like Specialized cannot provide a product! )
I had varying success with Evans at Trafford in Manchester and felt a bit confused by the advisors varying efforts; some great some not interested.
I saw the Bianchi Nirone Xenon in white online and fell in love with it, i spoke to them on the phone, we went through what i would be using it for and the approx sizing; they confirmed they had an unbuilt one in at Manchester Deansgate.
24 hours later i got to the Deansgate Manchester store and walked into a "switched on" store with a great group of people willing to help. i was being set up on the Turbo Trainer by three great lads who knew what they were on about, it took them an hour to set me up and give me some really good basic advice.
I left the store feeling very well served and looked after at all levels from the Deansgate Team.
I cant recommend them enough and i know where i will be going back to in the future.

I like your instinct, pick a classy brand with Campag
See, some people don't need to be taught good taste. Did you get any good deals on any accessories at Evans or did they charge you full whack?0 -
Good choice! I have the Nirone with Mirage Components and love it...I own a Specialized Langster and the Nirone just whitewashes it.0
