Plenty of mud at Mayhem last weekend, greasy mud, plasticine mud, liquid mud, running mud, off camber mud, dusty mud, slick mud and some dry bits in between. So no, not missing the mud, got a mouth full last weekend.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

I was reading about MM in the latest edition of Singletrack. Looks brilliant but do you have to be part of a team of three to enter?

I don't miss the mud, but I do miss the trails not being covered in nettles and the air not being full of bugs. And the sun, it burrrrns us!

Nope, you can enter as a soloist (but you need to be mental). There are then various team categories for 4, 5 and 10 person teams. There are various rules, for example if you are in a team of 5 you need a at least one member of the opposite sex.

It was fun but pretty hard as well. Getting up for a 4 am run is not the easiest thing to do, especially after finishing the last run at midnight.
