I,ve been looking at particiapting in the action. org 100 mile ride based in york in august.
Has anyone ridden one of there rides before, and if so, how organised are they with drink stops, marshalls etc

For my part, I thought it was very competently organised and I am sure you will find the same for the York event. The T-Shirt alone is worth the effort, but there was a lot more to it than that.
the TT was a challenge ride, rather than a sportive. There was no timing, no target times, not a lot of racing. Instead, it was a long arduous ride through great scenery with a sociable atmosphere and very good food stops.
