Does anyone have a Pace cycles time line? We were just talking about what we had and when and Pace items seem to pop up over and over.

I have a pair of RC35's on my mid to late 1980's Giant Escaper, and a mate has a set of ridgid forks on his Kona Hi Hi.

Just be interesting to see what was about and when.
This is why!

they first started making bike products back in 1987 and they first produced a proto type frame the RC100 back in 1989,
I remember seeing the RC30 forks being used by some of my friends and being sold in the LBS i used to work in back in the late 80's.

Probably no help at all but I picked up a Pace/DT Swiss brochure from Leisure Lakes a while back and there was a time line in there. They made some err...interesting kit in the 90s.
  • That would be a good scan to have / see.

I still have loads of old skool kit in my garage, found a stash of purple anodised kit last week...

It would be if I still had it

You could give Leisure Lakes a ring on 01902 716786, ask for Martin, Chris or Sandy and see if they will put one in the post for you. They had a pile of them last time I was in.

Have you seen the retro RC100 on the wall in the Wolves LL store? Great silver and flourescent yellow colour scheme going on.

I had a RC200 about 12 years ago, all that double butted square tubed lovelyness, it brings a tear to my eye remembering when it was nicked. Barstewards.
