Fondital was the co-sponsor of the Lampre team in 2006 (I'm guessing the bike is from then - as the co-sponsor was Caffita in 2005).
If so, the bikes they were riding then were Wiliers, so one of those is well worth having. Especially as a pro bike will be kitted out with top level equipment.
Here's a picture of the team from 2006:
I'm not sure what model it is, so can't give an accurate guess as to the value.
Thing is, teams are well-known for being quite stingy with their bikes - they often don't let even the riders keep them as they are often given back to the sposoring manufacturer, used for promotional purposes, given to development squads or sold. It might be worth asking why it was given away - just in case it's crash damaged or the like.
You also might want to consider who it belonged to - if it's a genuine team bike it should have a name on it somewhere, probably near the junction between top tube and seat tube. Owning one of the stars of the teams bikes might add a certain something, owning the spare bike of some domestique nobody remembers, well, that's not quite the same, is it? If it's Cunego's old bike, well that's quite cool, but if it belonged to Daniele Righi, so what?
Post some pics and I'm sure someone will be able to help you further...0
