I bought some Oakley clothing from there recently, took 2 weeks to get to me, have never had any problems with them until recently! :?

Just getting into the MTB thing for the first time, and I made simultaneous orders at Wiggle, CRC and CycleSportsUK about 2 weeks ago. Wiggle dispatched almost immediately, but CRC kept me waiting for about a week before sending the order out. (CSUK split the order, and I'm still waiting on the second part).

Not having much to compare with -- but I thought the turnaround abnormally long for an online retailer with all order items in stock. Either they're having personnel / technical problems, or maybe financial difficulties?

Well anything I order from CRC always comes within 24hours of purchase and that's with the standard free delivery, although perhaps that's because I live about 30mins from the warehouse - one of the scarce advantages of living in Northern Ireland I suppose
  • Well, I'm in London and they've never let me down. Every order (probably about 10 in the last year!) from my bike to a multi tool has always been here 2 days later. Even 2 weeks ago, 2 tyres, grips and a pair of gloves. 2 Day turn around!

    I love em!

CRC have never let me down for delivery times, neither have Wiggle. Ive found Evans to be slower but nothing ridiculous.

I I had to wait longer than a week for an item I would cancel the order unless it was a real bargain.

The turn around in CRC is emensly huge, i use to work in same sort place but was with music instruments ane turn around from picking to shipping in large ave 500 to 700 item a day to Parcel Force or royal mail depending on the items at xmas time was even busier 700+ in a day. As for CRC im sure its very busy place and errors do happen they employ load staff from one that sit at the comps take the orders print them off pass it to the order pickers package them send them and then there the call staff etc. Ive ordered from them number of times and have had no probs and my other selections of other stores.

Oh one thing i think there website is going bit slow too that coulbe our comps though dont know?

They just had that 10% sale on so are probably v busy. I have always found them great in the past - the last few orders have taken longer though.

I ordered something last week. Took a day or so more than I expected but thought it was still reasonable for the free postage.

On the other hand I ordered 4 sets of brake pads from Superstar Components at lunchtime one day and it arrived with the 10 o'clock post the next day. I was surprised at how quick that one was.

They are definitely on a go slow this week. Two days and my order is still showing 'processing...'

    :(
  • Placed two orders during the 10% off and the one that I didn't need turned up yesterday. The one that I'm desperately in need of still hasn't been shipped out. Tis abit frustrating when it's normally next day!
  • Its just down to the sale guys they are maxed out hence why it will take longer than usual to process, 10% is a lot of some orders so many people will have ordered in bulk for there clubs/shops.

Give them a few weeks to clear the back log and it will be fine again :)
    I use all 9 inches.
